5. Payment Terms
   Payment terms will be set out in the quotation or invoice. We may require a deposit or staged payments. Outstanding balances must be settled by the dates specified; late payments may incur interest and collection costs.

6. Cancellation and Amendments
   You may cancel or request changes to booked work by written notice. Cancellations after materials are ordered or work has commenced may incur charges up to the full contract value.

7. Customer Obligations
   You agree to:

   • Provide accurate information for the project.

   • Ensure safe access to the property.

   • Obtain relevant permissions if required (eg planning or building regulation approvals) unless otherwise agreed.

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from failure to meet these obligations.

8. Workmanship and Defects
   We will carry out services with reasonable skill and care. You must report any defects in workmanship promptly after completion so they can be investigated and remedied where appropriate.

9. Limitation of Liability
   Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the services paid for by you. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
